Refund policy

We want you to be entirely happy with your purchase from Ceiling Speakers. Using our comprehensive website features and expert advice we are confident that you will find the perfect products from our extensive range. However in case you need to return a product, our 45 day returns policy makes returning items straightforward.

On Delivery of Your Order

Please check your purchase thoroughly on delivery and advise us of any discrepancies, missing components or damage within 3 business days of delivery. Any such claims thereafter cannot be rectified.

When unpacking your order, take care to preserve the condition of the product, its protective packaging, accessories, operating & installation manuals. We want you to examine the product and to be completely satisfied with it. But it should not be installed before you have made the decision to keep it because installation may damage the appearance and condition of the product.

Our 45 Day Returns Policy

If you no longer wish to keep a product (for whatever reason), you can now return it within 45 days of delivery, subject to the following policy:

* From the day of delivery. Products should be received back with us within 7 days of us issuing a returns identification number for the above policy to apply.

Please note that our 45 day returns policy applies only to transactions where you are a UK Consumer. Transactions that are applicable to UK Business to Business orders (trade sales), and all customer orders from outside of the UK, are non-returnable and non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Refunds*

Refunds will be credited within 3 business days of us receiving the product, using the original method of payment. The only cost to you will be the insured postage costs that you will incur in returning the product to us.

Refunds for items that were part of a package deal

If you need to return an item or items that were part of a package deal you will receive a prorated refund based on the overall deal purchased. This applies to online packages and custom quotations. We reserve the right to refund items on this basis even if they were invoiced at full price. In order to provide competitive deals that are easy to understand and compare, we may choose to show a greater discount on one product than another to facilitate the final price. However the total discount can only be achieved if all the items are purchased together. As a result any refunds for package deal items will be subject to the same calculations.

Exchanges & Credit Notes*

Returned product can be exchanged for another product of equal value or higher. You will be asked to pay the difference for higher priced products prior to us dispatching them. If the product is of a lower value we will issue a credit note for the difference that you can spend with us at a later date. The cost to you will be the insured postage costs that you will incur in returning the product to us plus any restocking fee (see below) if applicable.

25% Restocking Fee*

Items returned to us between 29 and 45 days from the date of delivery will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. This will be deducted from the value of the exchange or credit note issued to you.

Items Returned Because Damaged, Defective or Incorrect

In the unlikely event that you wish to return a product because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective on delivery, we will refund the reasonable insured postage costs that you incur to return it to us. However, you must initiate the Returns Process (below) within 3 business days of delivery.

Products that fail due to a manufacturing fault within 28 days from the day of delivery will be exchanged for a brand new item of the same make and model. Items must be returned to us in their original packaging complete with all accessories and manuals. We will refund the reasonable insured postage costs that you incur to return it to us.

We check and test all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to refuse to refund the postage costs you incur in returning the product to us.

Products that fail due to a manufacturing fault 29 days or more after the day of delivery (but still within the product’s guarantee period) will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. The only cost to you will be the insured postage costs that you will incur in returning the product to us.

Returns Process

If you wish to return a product purchased from us, you must initiate the return process by emailing us at sales@ceiling-speakers.co.uk and provide your name, the invoice number, the product to be returned, and the reason for the return (eg. damaged, no longer required, etc). We will reply to you by email within 1 business day to advise you of a returns identification number (so our warehouse can identify the returned package) and explain the procedure for returning the product to us.

Products should be received back with us within 7 days of us issuing a returns identification number.

For any products returned under our 45 Day Returns Policy and received back by us below their originally supplied condition, we reserve the right to return them to you, or to charge a degradation fee.
